We’re Back!
And we’ve got tons of awesome shit going on. Here is our weekly roundup of specials and our food for thought.

Food Special of the Week: Enchiladas Verde for $9
Beer of the Week: Spezial Rauch Bier
Come to CULTUREfix this week and enjoy the interesting flavor of Rauch Bier. Rauch beers are often referred to as ‘smoked beers’. While the beer is not smoked, the malts are. Rather than drying these malts in the sun or in a kiln, Rauch beer malts are dried over an open flame imparting a tasty hint of smoke. Spezial brewery does well in producing a mild Rauch Beer that drinks like a smooth, carmelly lager and finishes with a hint of a spring time bonfire. Pair it with our cheese of the week and you’ll find yourself in a flavor town.
Menu Price $10. Tell us your an email subscriber and get it for $9!!
Cheese of the Week: Grayson by Meadow Creek Farms
What would go better with a smoky beer than a sticky cow’s milk cheese? NOTHING! This week’s cheese is called Grayson by Meadow Creek Farms from Galax, Virginia. This wash rind cows’ milk will make you realize that stinky feet is just natural thing in life. Milk our beer of the week, Spezial Rauchbier with it and you’ll be on your way to developing a foot fetish.
Art Quote of the Week to Ponder:
“The new princes don’t build cathedrals anymore; they build museums. Museums have today become the new churches” -Christian Boltanski
Urban Art:
On 1st Ave and 3rd st: The shadows of the trees have been marked on the ground by a mysterious process. The shadows of the trees look like they have been chemical etched into the ground somehow creating a permanent silhouette, which is darker in color than the regular cement. Pretty cool!
