"Photograms are a classic technique of darkroom photography. The subject, myself, is placed on the light sensitive paper, exposed to light and then processed by pouring and painting on developer and fixer chemicals to create unusual patterns and textures. The print serves as a more genuine record of the subject and a handmade object, not an image created in the camera."
